Marina Aleksandrova, born Pupenina on August 29, 1982, in Kiskunmajsa, Hungary, grew up in various Russian cities including near Lake Baikal, Tula, and St. Petersburg. She developed an early interest in music and theater, graduating from music school with a harp degree and completing her studies at the Shchukin Theater School in 2003. Her acting career gained prominence with the 2003 role in Poor Nastya, followed by performances in Azazel, Mosgaz, and Catherine II. Between 2006 and 2011, she worked at the Sovremennik Theater, later joining the Theater of Film Actors.
Marina was married to Ivan Stebunov from 2008 to 2010 and has been married to director Andrei Boltenko since 2012; they have two children. She communicates her artistic projects via Instagram, Telegram, and VK, speaks French and English, and participates in charity activities. Her career and public presence continue to influence contemporary Russian cinema.
